I have been using Greeting Card Factory since Version 7. I upgraded only because my older version would not work with Windows The first problem I encountered is that the double-sided printing setup wizard doesn't work. I followed the instructions, but when I printed my card the second side came out incorrectly. Basically, I had to use the old trial and error method to figure out how to load the paper to print the second side.

The next problem I encountered is that while old files do open in this version, they do not print properly e. To fix this I had to go back into the page setup and choose the type of stock I was using and the formatting I wanted.

Also, a disappointment is that this does not come with any support unless you pay extra for it. The final disappointment is the poor quality of the graphics that come with it. It has thousands of graphics, but they are very cartoonish and very amateurish. I had to update my Greeting Card Factory program when I bought a new computer with Windows 10, and there are big problems: The graphics in the Library don't match up with the descriptions, making this almost useless; and the search feature is almost non-functioning.

Say you put in "apple" I've use Greeting Card Factory 9 for many years and it's been great. The templates seem to work fine. But when designing from scratch, I found many of the graphics are mislabled. For example I wanted to download a birthday cake graphic but when I clicked on it a graphic for a Sister-in-Law card appeared. That happened time and again. Very frustrating and unusable. One person found this helpful. I like to customize, use my own artwork and words a lot. This does allow me to get creative and it looked great.

It did crash once and I had to start over but I had fun except for the crash and the cards came out great. I loved the fonts included as I am always looking for just the right font and this has some nice ones. No problems with installation on 8. This version cannot print such cards acceptably, resulting in prints with serious streaks, lines and discoloration, thus making this version totally worthless. I understand now why it is non-refundable or returnable! Amazon should remove this product immediately!

And Amazon should authorize refunds. I love working with this program to make my own cards.

Thanks for your feedback. Windows 10 will permanently break compatibility with some older apps. You might need to consider setting up a virtual machine with a compatible version of Windows.
